Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust rolls out AI scribing after a six-month pilot
More than 1,000 clinicians get Accurx Scribe under a three-year contract.

Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust is rolling out ambient voice technology across community and mental health services after a pilot. It chose Accurx Scribe, powered by Tandem Health, which drafts clinical notes, summaries and letters that clinicians review before they enter the record.
The three-year contract gives more than 1,000 clinicians access and is planned to support around 250,000 appointments a year.
The pilot ran for six months from September 2025. In the first month, 120 users across 13 services generated 2,500 consultation notes; by the end, 150 clinicians had scribed more than 13,000 consultations and produced over 2,000 letters. Digital Health reports Scribe is now in use in more than 40 NHS trusts.
